Mount the N40 on your camera's accessory shoe, connect your camera's HDMI output to the N40, and connect the N40 to your NDI network to enjoy all the advantages of NDI. The N40 features an HDMI output, which is either a loop through output while the N40 is encoding the input HDMI signal, or an output for when you use the N40 as a decoder. The N40 supports Tally signals and has a large Tally indicator. In addition, it supports PTZ camera control via IP, allowing you to use older PTZ cameras that feature HDMI output and supports RS-232 signals.
