Image quality has the brightness and color depth of other Blackmagic products and has the distinct advantage of producing 10-bit data rather than the usual 8-bit. Due to its small size, the sensor is Super16 size.

Broadcast Compatibility: This camera is equipped with an HDMI output (full-size), as well as mini-BNC connectors for 6G-SDI output and SDI input for camera control. To remotely control any setting on the camera – defining the focus, iris, magnification of supported lenses and setting the correct color – simply connect the output of the ATEM switch program to the camera’s SDI input. The included breakout cable also adds support for LANC control, timecode genlock, and B4 lens control.

The Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K is all about compatibility and can be manipulated on tripods, sliders, gimbals, motorized heads, practically anywhere, or anything. With a native MFT mount, you can also accommodate B4 broadcast lenses. Additionally, it can support a PL or EF metabones adapter, so you can use cine-prime, or Canon EF, lenses.
