Additional Information
The Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens is the enhanced version of its predecessor, one of the most acclaimed lenses in the Canon EF lineup and highly popular among professional photographers, with superior performance, higher speed, and optical quality.
Its robust design incorporates Fluorite to improve image quality, and five ultra-low dispersion optical elements that help increase sharpness and reduce optical aberrations. The Optical Image Stabilizer II offers up to 4 stops of correction at all focal lengths and has two modes for stabilization of both fixed and moving subjects, allowing for smooth tracking of moving subjects. Finally, the ultrasonic autofocus mechanism provides fast, smooth, and silent autofocus action.
This lens has a minimum focus distance of 3.9′ (1.2m) at all zoom settings, allowing you to get close to your subject, even in tighter spaces. Like all lenses in the Canon L-series, this zoom is dust- and moisture-resistant, designed to withstand the harshest environments.
