The Datavideo DAC-60 SD / HD / 3G-SDI to VGA Scaler and Converter converts SD / HD / 3G-SDI video signals into VGA signals for viewing on projectors and monitors. The DAC-60 features a loop-through input that passes the SDI input signal downstream without altering it. This allows you to send the same video signal to both VGA- and SDI-based equipment. The unit automatically detects the input format and scales it to the user-selected VGA output format, which is indicated by six LEDs.

Additional Information
The DAC-60 is compatible with SD NTSC / PAL signals, as well as HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals. The unit automatically detects, scales, and converts the incoming video signals into VGA-compatible signals for display on VGA-based equipment.
This converter/scaler features a built-in amplifier for image adjustment, which is controllable via the included Windows software. Once the image settings for the VGA output are configured, the DAC-60 can be disconnected from the computer, and the unit will retain the image adjustment settings. Only the VGA output is affected — the SDI loop-through signal remains untouched by the amplifier.
Finally, the mode selection button allows manual selection of 8 different VGA resolution settings that the DAC-60 can output. Six LEDs provide immediate and clear indication of the selected VGA output format. The SDI loop-through signal remains unchanged by the VGA output settings and is available to feed a switcher or other SDI-based equipment.
