Additional Information

Take your film production to the next level with the breathtaking high-speed footage captured by Wave High-Speed Camera from Freefly. With its unparalleled slow-motion capabilities, you can create stunning visuals and bring a new dimension to your work. Whether for entertainment or scientific purposes, the Wave offers you the ability to reveal the hidden beauty in even the fastest of movements and processes. So why settle for ordinary, when you can bring your production to the forefront with the incredible power of high-speed filming. At standard 2K or 4K resolutions, you can reach speeds of 1461 fps and 422 fps respectively.

Easy Activation

The Wave has easy activation via a singular start/stop recording button. With the optional Movi Pro, you can remotely trigger the Wave from up to 2500′ away.

Lens Compatible

The front of the Wave has a locking E-mount for optional DSLR lenses and adapters to enhance the quality and style of your footage.

Unlimited Clips

The capture time of a Wave video clip is only limited by the available storage capacity, and this version of the Wave includes 2TB of built-in, non-volatile SSD storage.

Compact and Mountable

The compact size of the Wave allows it to be used handheld, but for more stability, you may mount it to an optional tripod via 1/4″-20 and M3 connections. A 1/4″-20 connection can be located on the top and bottom of the Wave, while two M3 connections can be found on each side for a total of eight M3 connections.

Water and Dust Resistant

You shouldn’t feel limited in using the Wave, which is why Freefly made sure the aluminum chassis is IP52 rated for water and dust resistance.
