THOR is a high-speed 6-axis motion control camera robot for product films, super slow-motion and repeatable VFX shots. Mounted on a 4-metre linear track as a fully integrated 7th axis, it delivers frame-exact, repeatable camera moves under full programmable control — operated by the Digital Azul crew.
Plan the shot with us, not on set. For complex sequences, an optional Pre-Viz day is available on request, leaving only minor adjustments to make on set. The result: frame-exact, repeatable takes that match exactly what you planned, with no surprises on the day. Usually THOR is kept assembled and ready at our Lisbon facility, so you can prepare and rehearse your shots with the Digital Azul team before the shoot day. Share your storyboard, references or shot list with us in advance, and we will pre-programme your moves so that set time is spent capturing — not figuring out.
