1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

We do not collect payment details on the site. Payment is made in person when the equipment is collected.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that process it on our behalf under contract:

  • Booking and customer management: Current RMS (inventory and bookings) and Zoho CRM
  • Email and communications: Google Workspace and Brevo (automatic site emails)
  • Site chat: Zoho SalesIQ
  • Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads, only with your consent
  • Security: Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection at login)
  • Search assistant: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Voyage AI, to answer the questions you type into the site assistant. The text of your questions and the answers is sent to these providers to generate the reply. Do not include personal data in your questions.
  • Site hosting and backups: Hetzner Online GmbH, in EU data centres
  • Accounting: our certified accountant
  • Authorities: when required by law, for example the Portuguese Tax Authority

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, Voyage AI, Cloudflare) may process data in the United States. In those cases the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

The website and customer data held in Zoho (CRM and chat) are hosted in data centres in the European Union.

6. How long we keep data

7. Cookies

The site uses strictly necessary cookies (session, login, language and your equipment list) and, only if you accept in the banner, Google analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie icon in the corner of the screen.

8. Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability of your data, or object to processing. You can also withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing. Write to rental@digitalazul.pt. We reply within one month.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

9. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), an application firewall, security monitoring and regular backups. Access to data is limited to the team members who need it to handle your request.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the version in force.
