Blackmagic ATEM Talkback Converter 4K

1RU unit that gives the control room talkback and tally to up to eight camera positions over the same SDI cable that carries the picture. It uses embedded audio channels 15 and 16, the scheme Blackmagic Studio Cameras and the ATEM Camera Converter already speak, so no separate intercom cabling is needed on a studio or OB setup built around ATEM.

• Talkback and tally for up to 8 cameras over embedded SDI audio channels 15 and 16
• 12G-SDI throughout: SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60, auto switching, 10-bit
• 1x programme input from the switcher with tally and 16 channels of embedded audio, plus a programme loop-through to chain a second unit for more than 8 cameras
• 8x camera inputs and 8x camera outputs on BNC, 16 embedded audio channels each
• Optical fibre sockets for optional SFP modules: 8 single-mode video and audio channels on LC, for camera runs well beyond copper SDI limits
• Front panel balanced XLR mic input, built-in speaker and aviation headset connectors
• Push-to-talk per camera, mute and unmute, red tally LED and tally border on the monitoring outputs
• 100-240V AC with redundant 12-31V DC input

Fibre SFP modules are not fitted by default – say so on the booking if the camera runs need them.
