The AJA GEN10 is a compact, cost-effective sync generator for keeping SD, HD and AES audio devices locked to a single, accurate time base. It provides 7 outputs in total: two independently switchable groups of SD/HD sync (one SD, one HD) plus one AES-11 output, so it can drive an entire small system without needing a separate sync distribution amplifier.
The SD outputs switch between Color Black or 75% Color Bars, and the HD tri-level outputs can be configured to any of 19 HD formats, covering all standards currently in use. The AES-11 output switches between silence and a 1kHz reference tone. Configuration is done via external DIP switches, with no software required.
Small enough to sit behind a monitor, tucked into a rack, or mounted directly on a camera rig, the GEN10 is a reliable house-sync reference for multi-camera shoots, OB setups and studio installs.
