The Blackmagic Studio Fiber Converter sits in the studio or OB truck and communicates with the Camera Fiber Converter up to 2 km away, turning everything back into standard SDI, audio, talkback and control connections for your switcher and comms — while powering the camera down the same cable.

• Rack-mount unit with front SMPTE fiber connector and built-in 5″ LCD for monitoring
• Sends an industry-standard 200 V feed down the SMPTE cable, fully powering the camera converter, camera and accessories with continuous safety monitoring
• 12G-SDI camera output for HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60, plus 3x HD return feed inputs
• 4x balanced XLR analogue audio outputs, reference input and output
• Two dual-channel intercoms for third-party talkback systems, backup engineering talkback, tally and PTZ control connections
• Low-latency, broadcast-quality 10-bit IP video over the open-standard 10G Ethernet fiber link
