Conversion plate that mounts a V-mount battery and outputs regulated 8.4V on NP-F pins, so an NP-F powered monitor, transmitter or camcorder runs off a high-capacity block instead of a string of small NP-F cells. The obvious use is any long fixed setup – studio, multicam position, timelapse, live event – where changing NP-F batteries every couple of hours is the actual problem.
